Shopify has confirmed Stocky stops working entirely on August 31 — purchase orders, receiving, and every Stocky API. Your historical data goes read-only for a limited export window, and it does not move into Shopify by itself. This page is the checklist, plus an honest map of where each workflow can live afterward.
The export window after shutdown is limited, and some records can't be exported at all — do it while Stocky is still alive.
Stocky's reports can export past POs as CSV. These do NOT migrate into Shopify automatically — if you want the paper trail, export it yourself.
Supplier records can't be exported from Stocky. Copy names, emails and payment terms somewhere safe before the lights go out.
Anything mid-flight on August 31 stops being manageable in Stocky. Close the loop while the receiving screen still exists.
Whatever tool you move to will build on Shopify's "cost per item" field. If Stocky was your source of cost truth, sync it across now.
Shopify's built-in POs cover the basics. If you need landed cost, margin on the PO, or receiving across multiple deliveries, you'll want an app — that's the table below.
Honest mapping — including the things RestockRadar deliberately does not do.
| You did this in Stocky | Shopify built-in POs | RestockRadar |
|---|---|---|
| Create purchase orders with supplier details | Yes | Yes — costs, prices and stock pre-filled |
| See cost, sell price and margin on the PO | Partial — margin column often blank | Yes — margin computed against landed cost |
| Landed cost (freight, duty) on received stock | No | Yes — allocated per unit, cents-exact |
| Receive a PO across multiple deliveries | All-or-nothing in most flows | Yes — per-delivery log with packing-slip refs |
| Product cost updates when stock arrives | Manual | Yes — weighted average, written automatically |
| Reorder suggestions | No | Yes — ranked by dollars of waiting demand |
| Stocktakes / cycle counts | Basic quick count | Not built — use Shopify's inventory counts |
| Barcode scanning | On POS | Not built |
| Inventory transfers between locations | Yes — built into Shopify | Not built — Shopify's transfers cover this |

Not automatically today. Your product costs carry over through Shopify's own cost-per-item field, which we read and keep updated. Export your PO history from Stocky for your records — and if an importer would change your decision, email support: it's the kind of thing we build when merchants ask.
Deliberate scope. Shopify's built-in counts and transfers are decent and free; the gap merchants actually complained about is purchase orders — landed cost, margin, real receiving. We'd rather do that completely than everything thinly.
There's a free plan. Purchase orders with landed cost and receiving are on the Pro plan at $44/month — billed through Shopify, 14-day free trial. Full pricing is on the homepage and the app listing.
Yes — Shopify's help center confirms Stocky was removed from the App Store in February 2026 and stops functioning on August 31, 2026, with a limited read-only window for exports afterward.
Install free, build a purchase order against your real catalog, and see the landed cost before you commit to anything.
